From the aspects of the world energy crisis and environmental exacerbation, the thesis introduces the importance of using solar photovoltaic power, then discusses the advantages of building integrated solar photovoltaic power system,comparing with traditional solar power plant. Through the comparison of apllying the solar photovoltaic power on building rooves,the thesis analyses the advantages of using solar photovoltaic system on building facades,and the problems that emerged in the process of promotion.Starting with the basic principles of photovoltaic, the thesis analyzed the whole operation process of photovoltaic energy system and its components.With study of the solar battery, the core of the solar power system,the thesis analysed the influence of the photovoltaic solar panel,which is composed of photovoltaic cells,on building facades and lighting effects;and made a full research on the optimum angles and facing directions of photovoltaic, to help promoting the energy efficiency of photovoltaic with architectural design.This paper mainly discusses the design approach of building facades with integrated photovoltaic. Starting with visual effects and evaluation criteria, the thesis studied the process of architectural design with integrated photovoltaic,in terms of unified forms,scales, variations,and rhythms.Analysises and examples are represented to study the facade design, in terms of geometry and color. According to the different positions of pivotal parts that integrated photovoltaic system with building, the thesis illustrates the integrations between photovoltaic system and building structures,such as window, glass-curtain wall,baluster, shading system,and exterior wall,by giving numerous graphies and data from the latest international BIPV projects.By studying cases of typical domestic and international projects,the thesis throughout analyzed the whole process of integrating photovoltaic system with buildings,from concept design phase to project completion, and presents numerous graphies,datas and detail plans.Finally, the thesis studied the economic aspect of BIPV,and through the reading of economic incentives in developed countries and relevant policies in China, analyzed the development prospect of photovoltaic integrated buildings.
