The Research Of New And Outdated Stretcher-mounted Bath Apparatus

The living quality and condition of old and vulnerable people attract more and more attention with the incessantly raising of living quality. China is big country with large population in, elderly people take up largish ratio. For elderly people, taking a wash can relax both mentally and physically, and it has efficacies of sanitation, health care and treatment. It's a hard work for others to help elderly people (such as paraplegia) wash themselves, and it is dangerous and can be drowned. So, family and recuperate institution hope comfortable bathing facility and secure bathing environment.Stretcher-mounted bath apparatus can transport elderly people who are lying on the washing table to bathtub, the elderly people lies down in whole process, it's laborsaving, convenient and save the heavy labor of carrying in and out the elderly people, it alleviates the labor of nurse efficiently.The man-machine engineering is the scientific research methods and the achievement that use anthropometry,physiology,psychology and so on, apply human body characteristic, ability and active limit data to the design of mechanical system and the environment, enable the operator work safely, comfortable and efficiently, in order to achieves the optimization of the human-machine-environment system.Anthropometry theory was used in this paper, and the particularity and elderly people's size were fully considered. Anew machine which is lighter, more stable, more flexible, more comfortable, and safer was designed. First of all, the 3D human model of stretcher-mounted bath apparatus was built in CATIA V5 ergonomics template. Secondly, main parts of stretcher-mounted bath apparatus solid models were created and mounted under Pro/E environment. Then, the static strength of scissors-fork hoisting mechanism of bathtub was calculated. At last, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of stretcher-mounted bath apparatus comfort was completed.Subject which was studied in this paper can increase the efficiency of medical care worker, and to improve the QOL of bather, By which the elder can enjoy their bathing process. I hope we can contribute a piece of our strength for the construction of warm and harmonious society.
