With the development of information technology, especially the wide use of computer technology in the factory floor, it has been an important factor to utilize technology innovation to improve production management system for the enterprises. In order to participate in international market competition, enterprises should make full use of existing resources to establish quality management information system to improve quality control and product quality, combing information techniques, modern management methods and techniques, as well as manufacturing techniques during the whole product life cycle.In the area of automotive parts industry, manufacturing enterprises generally have many upstream and downstream customers. In particular, enterprises need to establish quality information management system, through which the enterprises can get the products' storage and quality information and control the manufacturing status online. The system can not only help enterprises increase the preciseness of parts management and the validity of the control, but also reduce their operational loopholes in the flow control management and enhance market competitiveness.Aiming at the research and development of Anyuan Automobile Parts Company in Fuzhou, the basic processes and difficulties to develop the quality information management system, as well as the realization of the system are studied in this thesis. Firstly, the current situation and development bottlenecks of the automobile parts companies are investigated, and the necessity of developing quality information management system is discussed. Secondly, with respect to the specific application requirements from Bell and Valeo companies, a new blueprint of assembly and detecting line for automobile air conditioning controller is proposed, which could detect the electrical properties of the automobile air conditioning controller, such as CLP-off, voltage drop, current value, and so on. Results form the practice that the new system can avoid a series of shortcomings of the existing solution, such as low reliability and low efficiency. Finally, a primary quality information management system for the automobile air conditioner controller is implemented, which can detect and control the product quality automatically, beside the basic functions of information query and quality tracing. The work of the thesis could do help to the automobile parts companies when they plan to improve existing quality information management system.
