In the areas of our country which are hot and humid in summer, frequently using all kinds of equipment to decrease the temperature and to ventilate initiatively for the house, not only consumes massive energies, but also dose harm to the environment sustainable development. Constructing the houses by consuming massive resources doesn't conform to the current national conditions, especially in villages of the areas which are hot and humid in summer.After summing up the conditions of energy-consumption in these areas, it finds out that these areas face serious energy-consumption problems and it is a certain tendency that villages will become more ecological in the future. Therefore, developing new rammed-earth houses which cost comparatively low is an effective way to solve the energy-consumption problems in the villages of areas which are hot and humid in summer.In order to do the research and the exploration on this aspect, to promote new rammed-earth houses development in these areas, on the base of field investigate this thesis takes"rammed-earth buildings"in NanJing and YongDing of FuJian province as example, illustrates their materials, construction technology, craft inheritance, present situation and the latent reason why they be replaced gradually by brick-concrete houses,and figure out the advantage of rammed-earth houses on the aspect of energy conservation and the problems of the traditional rammed-earth houses development.Through the analysis on the material distribution situation, the material comparison on the aspect of resources consumption, the construction strategy of rammed-earth-wall, mechanics performance of rammed-earth-wall, the moist proofing and quakeproof strategy of rammed-earth houses, this thesis eliminates the worry on development of new rammed-earth houses which is universal existent. These basic researches have provided the scientific theory instruction for the design of new rammed-earth houses in villages. This thesis finally proposes the new rammed-earth house conceptual design plan, which can be effectively used in practical constructions of new village in the areas which is hot and humid in summer.Carrying"architecture energy conservation design analysis software PKPM" on this design plan about thermal calculation and the energy consumption calculation, verifies the superiority of rammed-earth houses on the aspect of energy conservation comparing with brick-concrete houses under the same condition, and proves that the new rammed-earth houses has good climate adaptability.This research proposes to develop rammed-earth materials and technology ,the cost of which are comparatively low and to construct the sustainable development energy conservation houses for modern villages of the area which is hot and humid in summer.
