Because of the rapid promotion of power load, old power grid of path 220kV and 110kV in Chongqing can not afford the thirsty requirement of increasing transmission capacity. Nowadays, Newly style conductor chnology such as large cross section conducton and heat-resistant cknductor become mature gradually in theory and practice. It can cut down the expensive fees to purchase a field without doudt,applicating of such technology in power grid updating becomes move and more feasible and helpful, hindering city construction. The research work of this paper includes 4 aspects.(1) Considering the reality and requirement of updatine old power grid in Chongqing, it is possible to adopt two new technologies about large cross-section conductor and heat-resistant conductor.(2) This peper studied the characteristic and advantage of big cross-section conductor wire, heatproof conducting wire and compact transmission circuit technology and pointed out the technical factors which need to be correctad and paid attention during the layout demonstration period.(3) This paper puts the grey relation degree synthetic evaluation method to select proper proposal, It introduced its principle, duilt up the valuation index, analyzed model building-up and reckoning method .It provides an ideal typechacins for the Chongqing power grid updating.(4) With the aim of increasing 30% transmission line capacity, this paper designed and compared the different updating plans of old power grid in Chongqing.â‘ By setting a typical 110kV transmission line as research object, this paper puts forward two reforming schemes using NRLH conductor and LGJ Conductor respectively. Through setting mathematic model and comparing the economic indexes between these two schemes, it is proved that applying largecross-section conductor can obtain greater economic and social benefits.â‘¡By setting a typical local 220kV transmission line as research object, two reforming schemes of both large cross-section and heat resistant conductors are compared about their availability in reforming old power grid. Moreover, the static investment and dynamic benefit are analyzed comprehensively. It is proved that applying heat-resistent conductor in this 220kV transmission line is more effective and much cheaper.To sum up, all these research works provide the theoretic reference and project application in updatingold power grid in Chongqing.
