Study On River Basin Development And Human Habitation Environment Construction In Southwest China

According the study of human habitation environment construction of the river basin in southwest China, the urban system which taking'basin'as its region unite is tried to be constructed in the present urbanization process. The basin urbanization process and the theories and methods of urban system construction are initially studied, as well as various important principles of basin development and the urban system construction. The theoretical system of human habitation environment construction of the river basin in southwest China is enriched, and suggestions are provided for the relevant construction and practices.On the basis of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the basin urbanization process and the development of urban system in the southwest is classified and summarized; both advantages and disadvantages in the process of urbanization are specified; and the present situation and features of urbanization level and urban system are analyzed. On this basis, the long-term basin urbanization level in the southwest is predicted, and the basin urban system is also constructed and perfected.This paper is one of the sub-research topics of"study on river basin development and human habitation environment construction in Southwest China"which is funded by the national natural science foundation of China.This paper contains five parts:Part one: introduction: the background, research scope, guidance theory, methodology and the basic thoughts are introduced in this part.Part two: background of basin development in southwest China: the research area location in urbanization and urban system is introduced, and the development condition of the research area is analyzed.Part three: reviewing the status and development of urbanization level and urban system in the research area. According the study on the urbanization status and the disparity between each region, main problems in the process of urbanization are summarized. The regional spatial structure, hierarchical size structure and the functional structure are researched in this part and the problems are induced.Part four: answering questions listed in previous parts: this is the research part of this paper. In chapter four, the long-term basin urbanization level in the research area is predicted and the development strategy is also posed. In chapter five, the general conception of urban system development is posed. The urban system is constructed and perfected from the aspects of regional spatial structure, hierarchical size structure and the functional structure.Part five: conclusion.
