Research On Key Techniques Of Spares Data Management Based On PDM

Spare parts, which ensure the normal flight of airplanes and serve the maintenance activities, are the important base of material. An aircraft has a complex structure, many kinds of parts and a large number of product data. So it's important to manage the spares data in an efficient science way, which is the main contents of the spares support and service, and is one of the key factors to win in the market.Along with the start-up of digital engineering in aircraft manufacturing, PDM, ERP and other Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems are improving ceaselessly. And the management of spare parts is becoming more and more scientific and mormative. This paper presents the importance of EBOM in spares data management from the side of PDM and the method of how to comfirm the spares items and key parameters on the base of line maintenance. This research supplies the necessary base of data for the spares support and management, and to a certain extent it has valuable reference to realizing the Single Source of Product Data and sharing all the parts information in the whole life of airplanes.This paper also presents the product configuration management based on EBOM, system contrl management and document version/revision control based on workflow, and develope the"Spares Data Management System", which is one of the main modules of"Spares Planning System". This software has been used in ARJ21spares support and service systems, and has become a useful assistant of spares engineers to make the RSPL, Inventory List and other customized files.The research of this paper solves the less data problem of recent spares support and management, and is significant to construct our Chinese aircraft manufacturing and consummate the spares support systems.
