Research On Control Of Drum-type Washing Machine Drive System For Vibration Reduction

The vibration of the running drum-type washing machine, especially in the dewatering mode, has been a critical problem. When the drum-type washing machine was running, the imbalance in the distribution of clothing would change drum load and the direction of the eccentric force. It would make the vibration problems occur. The vibration led to not only noise, but also a reduction of the machinery and electrical parts' operating life. As the universality of the conventional mechanical vibration reduction methods were limited. In recent years, with the development of technology, based on the electromechanical integration system, the integrated use of mechanical, electronic, electrical and other aspects of technology, enhancing the vibration reduction effect of the washing machine has become a trend.Based on the subject requirements and practical application of, in cooperation with Matsushita company, for the National NA-V82 drum-type washing machine, this paper designed a drive system using power electronic digital control system MyWay PE-Expert as control system. And the novel control methods for vibration reduction of drum-type washing machine were developed.In this paper, the structure and main contents were as follows:In Chapterâ… , the background and the practical significance of the research were introduced firstly. Then it described the mechanical vibration reduction methods and the novel methods using motor control technology to reduce the vibration. Through the analysis and comparison of the different kinds of the methods, the main research program was proposed.In Chapterâ…¡, the hardware of the drive system and some of the main link between the components were introduced firstly. Secondly, the basic control method based on the vector control was given. Finally, it introduced vibration measurement equipment and vibration detecting method.In Chapterâ…¢, based on the analysis of the vibration, the novel method of real time rotor eccentric load locating and weight estimation of rotor eccentric load were proposed. Then based on the simulation and experimental analysis, the novel vibration reduction methods based on pulsating torque were proposed.In Chapterâ…£, through experimental works, the relevant parameters for vibration reduction method were identified. And the methods were tested by experimental results.In Chapterâ…¤, the main research works were summarized and the future works were discussed.
