Study On Some Issues Of Passing Capacity Of Intercity Express Railway

As a passenger service product adapt to the characteristics of the regional market and meeting the developing needs for regional economic and social, intercity express railway is promoted combining with China's urbanization process and the need for reform of the railway passenger transport. It is of important significance and role for China's passenger rail development. With the developing of intercity express railway, the contradiction between supply and demand of China's transportation can be eased, the structure of China's transportation can be optimized, and the sustainable development of China's major cities will be driven.Now, more and more intercity express railways are constructing in China's economy and the city group ,when these intercity express railways have completed, people pay more attention to the issues how to calculate the passing capacity and which method of calculation can be used. And to calculate the capacity of railway accurately has the direct relation with many factors ,such as reasonable arrangements for the production, fixing equipment and making a train plan, so it's meaningful to find a scientific, accurate method of calculating of capacity in order to calculate the capacity accurately.Based on consulting a large number of papers, documents, according to the latest research developments in the field, using the theories of optimization, system engineering and large-scale systems control, several main problems about the method of calculating the passing capacity were studied. The main points are as followed:1. Based on the analysing the conception and characteristic of intercity express railway, the paper discuss the classify of intercity express railway, and describe their characteristics.2. The author defines the concept of the intercity express railway passing capacity, analyze the influencing factors and component elements of the capacity. In order to achieve the harmonious development of different capacities, the intercity express railway transport capacity shoud be researched from a systematic point of view.3. According to the characteristics of intercity express railway, a new calculation method of section through capacity-the combination of the deduction coefficient method and minimum spacing methods, is proposed in this paper. And introduces how to calculate the passing capacity by using this method detailedly, and take Chengdu-mianyang-Leshan inter-city express railway as the example, analysis three methods.4. Using system analysis thought, the paper, adopting both qualitative and quantitative methods, analyze the system capability characteristic. Then the content, principia, goal and method of inter-city railway system ability coordination is studied using coupling coordination theory.The paper did a system study on some issue of the intercity express railway passing capacity from theory to application; expect to provide the theoretical support and suggestion for the development of intercity express railway.
