Modern sonar, radar, and other communication systems testing and simulation require high-precision signal waveforms with certain regularity. However, in the development process of sonar, radar, and other communication systems, it is impossible to do a lot of field experiments because of cost and other reasons, so generally it is needed to reconstruct the kind of random signal with these characteristics in the laboratory for system testing, analysis and simulation. Therefore the development of signal reconstruction in the laboratory is necessary.The work of signal generator is divided into two parts, one is responsible for the signal processing and production; and the other part is responsible for the display and control of the signal generator, and takes this part as study of the paper.The display and control system platform of the signal generator uses AT91RM9200 processor as the core of the platform to build the hardware platform, and embedded Linux Operating System as the software platform. Developing applications based on the hardware and software platform.The paper focuses on the application in the display and control platform based on embedded Linux Operating System, and launch a series of research work. Main contents include: Collaborative complete overall system design; The hardware circuit design of the display and control platform; The design and debug of related software, including Bootloader program, the Linux kernel transplantation, file system, drivers, and man-machine interface development.
