With the growing problem of early disease in Highway such as hot track, cracking and water damage at low temperature, we have found that the inhomogeneity easily caused in the construction process is the inherent flaws and hidden dangers of such mixture, seriously affecting the quality of the road mixture and road performance. Though sufficient importance attention have been given to this issue at home and abroad, but a lack of systematic research still exists in the construction process and quality control .In this paper, the reason, prevention and control methods of uneven problem in the mixing process of hot mix asphalt mixture will be given special research.with intermittent asphalt mixture equipment structure and the physical properties of aggregates for the production of hot mix asphalt mixture, the main reason of a variety of inhomogeneity caused in the production of asphalt mixture is found in this article, for the settlement of the mixing equipment calibration and adjustment of parameters problems; at the same time ,thinking of the mixture forms, methods of the corresponding reduction and the elimination of segregation are proposed, and an explanation to elimination mechanism and effects is given respectively, and other auxiliary manner and adjustment to existing equipment structure must be adopted in order to effectively eliminate and reduce Segregation. with the analysis of the inhomogeneity caused by the mixing process of the hot mix asphalt mixture, following the design and manufacture of the mandatory asphalt mixing equipment, we propose the solutions to reduction of segregation.Based on calibration and adjustment of the structure of construction equipment ,existing mixture construction technology and mandatory batch asphalt mixing equipment process, a set of construction technology and quality control measures is developed so as to give materials, equipment, and other aspects of Segregation corresponding preventive measures and quality control; and with sampling analysis and indoor experiments, the construction equipment is optimized at overall match. Test results show that a reasonable construction technology and production methods can be effective in eliminating and reducing the mixture Segregation and improve road performance of mixture.
