The improvement of city traffic problems essentially depends on the coordination between the land use and traffic. This coordination not only performance on the micro,but also on the macro. Therefore urban traffic planning and urban planning should embark in the micro and macro at the same time to coordinate the land use and traffic. Macro coordination rely on the urban collectivity land use planning and urban comprehensive traffic planning, while the micro coordination has been lacked the effective means and quantitative methods. The status of urban transport urgently needed in-depth study on how to coordinate land use and transport system in micro. The traffic impact analysis is a powerful tool for urban traffic in micro-coordinate land use and.Urban external passenger transport hub (UEPTH) as a distribution site for large number of traffic flow and passenger flow, its build and rebuild may impact the road net. Therefore, study on the traffic impact analysis of urban external passenger transport hub have important significance to fulfill passengers'various travel demand, enhance the regional passenger transport system efficiency and to reduce traffic jam.In this paper, the functions of UEPTH and its system framework and TIA study status in domestic and international are analyzed, and on the basic of this the author put forward the traffic impact analysis system, and traffic impact analysis method of urban external passenger transport hub passenger hub .Firstly, from the process of general item traffic impact analysis dicuss the traffic impact analysis system, including the content and the main link of raffic impact analysis.Then put forward the method of the impact area confirmed, traffic flow forecast of the UEPTH, and impact content, thereby defining evaluation item, method and standards.Then the author put forward the organization design method from the three aspects—external, internal transport organizations and join transport organizations on the basd of the evaluation result.Finally, the author analyzes the designation in CHang CHun Railway Passenger Station according to the theories and methods which have been studied in this paper.
