The asphalt pavement is the main pavement pattern of highway in our country. With the development of national economy and highway traffic, more and more large-scale vehicles are used in the carrier vehicle in our country, and the vehicles which are ultra limit, and overload are also serious, it causes the pavement to be fatigue, rutting, premature damage and so on. The service life and service level of pavement is reduced. Therefore, the research of durable asphalt pavement in heavy-duty traffic becomes the important problem to solve for the road researcher.Based on the survey of the performance of highway asphalt pavement of Gansu province, this paper studys on the present usage condition and the main reason of the damage;and analysis the influence to the asphalt pavement structure in heavy duty traffic;Analysis the regulation of Respond of asphalt pavement with semi rigid base of structure parameter variety;according to the mechanics of result and the characteristics of Weather,transportation and road material of Gansu province, Recommend the reasonable structure layer parameter of asphalt pavement which is applicable to gansu province.According to the result of asphalt pavement investigate and stress analysis, put forward four kinds of asphalt pavement structure. First, analyze the respond regulation of the four kinds of asphalt pavement at heavy load. And then verificate the performance of the four kinds of asphalt pavement structure used of the world's advanced Accelerated Pavement Test equipments (ALF).Last, according to the weather characteristics, traffic condition, economy condition and usage function of pavement structure of gansu different region, evaluates the applicability of different asphalt pavement in different region in gansu province using fuzzy theories and recommend pavement structure type which is applicable to gansu dissimilarity region. In the west hallway of gansu province, recommend to use thin asphalt layer pavement structure with a high performance base or new type asphalt pavement with Graded Drainage Asphalt Mixture, OGDM in subsurface, recommend to use new type asphalt pavement structure constitution drain underneath new asphalt pavement structure with OGDM in subsurface in the loess region, or choose to use asphalt pavement structure with flexible base.
