The modern brushless direct current (BLDC) motor is a high performance machine, which gathers the technique of new rare earth material, the technique of power electronics and the technique of computer control. It not only has the simple structures, the low cost, the maintenance-free, the high power density and the high efficiency, but also has the same excellent speed control performance as traditional DC motor. Recently, BLDC motor is increasingly being used in the industry areas more and more widely.In this thesis, the developing status of BLDC motor and the future direction are summarized firstly, and then one controller of BLDC motor with high voltage which is based on ASIC (Application Specific Integrated circuit) MC33035 and single chip MCU C8051F310 is studied, and another one based on power switch MOSFET and the IPM component. The hard board circuit and the software are designed very carefully, and the closed loop speed control strategy which is based on the feedback signals of HALL components is realized, the HALL components which are used to detect the position of the BLDC motor rotor mounted inside in it.At the same time, the design and manufacture technics of the built-up stator core of permanent magnet (PM) BLDC motor with concentrated winding is discussed, and the way of how to mount the HALL components is analyzed. Otherwise, the strategy of flux-weakening of PM BLDC motor with 8 poles/ 12 slots structure is analyzed also, and then the test of performance conclusion of the way "Current Phase Advance with unchangeable angle" is educed.After several versions of controllers are finished, the performance of the controller is perfected gradually. So, the design of the controller is developed by optimizing the hardware and software design, analyzing lots of experimental data and test wave information. In addition, the management and manufacture of batch production is considered, the generalization of the controller, the high reliability, and the marketization is come true. The low-volume production of the high voltage controller is made and users give their conclusions: the PM BLDC motor controller is good at low heating, all-side protect, and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility), the speed of the motor can be adjusted from 20 percent to 100 percent smoothly, and the movement of the rating speed less than 1 percent when the motor speed is set to rating speed and the motor load is changed from 0 percent to 120 percent.
