The accuracy and uniformity of the muzzle velocity measurements have a direct impact on the weapons production, research, development and application. Also the data efficiency has an impact on the test efficiency and consumption. The single-light screen velocity measuring system researched by our laboratory has passed the shooting range test. It has realized high-precision measurement, and it's measurement accuracy is less than 0.05%. But the target distance is too small, so we must consider the impact of various factors, and have to compensate the temperature. Through the firing range test, we found that when the environment is poor, there are invalid data, causing low data efficiency, at the same time the accuracy and uniformity is also fell.Based on the single-light screen velocity measuring system researched by our laboratory, we designed the dual-light screen velocity measuring system. It has resolved the problem caused by the small target distance, and enhanced data accuracy, stability and efficiency. The main work includes:1. According the requirements of high precision, high stability and high-efficiency, we analyzed the existing problems of single-light screen velocity measuring system, put forward and realized the dual-light screen velocity measuring system, and analyzed the accuracy of the system;2. Completed the machinery parts design of the dual-light screen velocity measuring system, and completed the processing and assemblage; Completed the design and debugging of the system's circuit parts, including laser-driven module, optoelectronic signal acquisition and processing module, signal reception and control module and data transmission module;3. Completed the design and debugging of the ARM-based embedded control software and PC operating software;4. Completed the distance measurement of the total system, including the fixed target distance of single-light screen velocity measuring system and the separation target distance of separate light screen velocity measuring system; Completed the simulation test and shooting range test, verified the dual-light screen velocity measuring system could meet the requirements, and analyzed the test results.
