Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Embedded Vehicle Terminal For The Fourth Party Logistics Service

With the rapid development of the logistics industry, the standard of the logistics informationization and the accuracy of information is much more higher, it seems that the transport logistics based on the traditional communication method and the information acquisition can not meet the needs, especially when the 4PL(fourth party logistics) came out, which requires even more precisely, According to this particular problem, this paper proposes a way to solve it by integrating embedded vehicle system and logistics process informationization.In this paper, an embedded hardware platform is built up firstly based on ARM9,with GPS position locating and GPRS wireless communicating. And the operating system is embedded Linux, with MiniGUI as the graphical environment. Then design and implement an intelligent embedded vehicle terminal for the fourthparty logistics service. In detail, the GPRS module connects to the internet by ppp protocol, gathering the ware order by the form of email, communicating with the shipper party instantly. The data stream from the GPS system and the end user encapsulated by the default protocol is sent back to the remote server through GPRS. The server can then process the data and send it further to the GIS system, which can archive real time monitoring and tracking through these data,from the GIS system user can check their goods conditions. The technique used in the vehicle embedded terminal can provide a high accurate, real time, all weather data communication service.The terminal is designed for the informationization of the logistics process as well as the vehicle mobility. And it can be transferred to the other type of vehicles by some function modifications. It's a good guide for the development of the embedded vehicle terminal.
