The main reasons that develop our national engineering mechanical industry are the following: continue promotion of urbanization, expansion of new rural construction, the starting of high-speed railway and other huge fundamental construction projects. However, the later half of 2008, with the influence of national macro-control and financial crisis in investment and finance, it appears for some products of the industry that the decrease of sales and difficulty in flowing capital. On the other hand, in order to resist the risks of tight macro-policy, some main machinery factories have already took part in international competitions in recent years. Meanwhile, with the increased investment on equipment manufacturing and enhanced competitiveness of engineering mechanical industry, our national engineering mechanical products market share will further improve. So the oversea market space is large for the industry. [48] [49]Although the oversea engineering mechanical market is positive, there are still some problems for exporting products, such as lacking competitiveness of products'reliability, regulating export procedure, facing the conflicts of intellectual property, improving the standard of the industry. All these problems will bring challenges for the industry.Early to 2002, the production of engineering cranes already took the top all over the world. However, the sales income less than 10% of the world total income. During the 1980's, many national corporations imported crane technology from Liebherr,Tadano,and other enterprises. After learning and innovating for 20 years, it has formed mature product series. In 2009, Xuzhou Heavy Duty Machinery Factory will develop a new series of product, such as 90K, 110K and 150K. It requires engineers and technicians to put a lot of effort in scheme calculation.[50] After successfully analyzing scheme, technicians will continue detailed calculation, so the efficiency of scheme calculation influences future work directly. As to crane, the product series have some similarities and the scheme calculation has reached a high level. However, it takes a long time and has many calculating method, so it's quite necessary to build a new calculating scheme program.This paper studies main arms of cranes using simplified beam structure of finite element. After automatically calculating, we choose suitable material and plate thickness in order to guarantee the economy, safety and reliability. It saves about 2/3 calculating time. All the work amount decreases from building finite element model artificially, calculating mechanically, collecting results to building finite element model artificially, calculating automatically, extracting results automatically. It improves precision through automatically calculating rather than artificially calculating. Through communicating with Xuzhou Heavy Duty Machinery Factory, comparing traditional method and modern finite element in ANSYS, calculating method has been improved by degrees[51]. |
