In recently years,with the rapid development of our county’s economy andsociety and the urbanization process accelerating, lorry-mounted crane has played amore and more role in construction of national infrastructure.In order to seek for theirmarket share, every company pays attion to the development and reaserch of thelorry-mounted crane.The structure analysis has been the primary task of thedesigners.This paper is based on the project about the structure analysis of SQZ300Klorry-mounted crane with foldable arm, which is cooperated by Jilin University and××lorry-mounted crane co., LTD. After the preliminary work, according to theinformation given by the manufacture, we had a basic undertanding about the integralstructure and working principle. At the instance of the manufacture, the mainstructure was simulated,providing the technical support for the designers, whiledeveloping the new products.This paper mainly studyed the deforming lorry-mounted crane with foldablearm. It runned the structure analysis about the key metal parts, such as rotarytable,the main boom, under the all operating condition. At last, it got the finiteelement analysis result of the lorry crane and write a parameterized software.According to the feature of the boom,it runned the computation schemes withthe beams. It built the key metal parts in ANSYS,which were parameterized. Itformed the general program with assisted softwares. Through this program,it couldget lots of important informations, such as the internal forces of luffing cylinders,theinternal forces of telescopic cylinder, the stress distribution on the whole and thevariation of total displacement.After the computation schemes, it built the detailed finite element model for thefurther research in order to get the detailed stress distribution of the booms and othermental parts.With the program for result extraction, it could get intensity and rigidityabout the whole strcture. By comparing the results and checking the model, it couldget the analysis the reson for the mise stress of the local areas.It runned the performance analysis program of the crane under the all thecondition.As a result,it could give some advcie to the designers for making the new product performance table.According to the calculation result of finite element analysis, combining withthe characteristics of boom structure,it formulated the test scheme of lorry crane.Comparing the test result with the computed result,it could verify the validity of thefinite element analysis model and the rationality of the simulation method.It established the parameterized computation program about the deforminglorry-mounted crane with foldable arms,on the basis of finite element model andcalculation program of SQZ300K. It layed a solid foundation for the construction ofthe product.
