As the economy develops, China s urbanization process is accelerated and thedemand of the construction of national infrastructure is rising. The lorry-mountedcrane plays a more important role under this condition, and the analysis on structureof lorry-mounted crane wins the concern of scientific researcher.This paper studies the structure of SQS300K lorry-mounted crane. Based onthe data collected by field measurement, technical information provided by thecompany and run book from the designer, the structure and operation mode ofSQS300K lorry-mounted crane has been acquired, which lays a solid foundation onthe sequence analysis. Basd on the finite element theory and software it analysethoroughly the upper-structure of the lorry-mounted crane, which helps thedesigners to complete the product design.Firstly, it runs the program calculation of SQS300K lorry-mounted crane.Based on Finite Element Method and ANSYS software, it simplifies the mechanicson the upper structure of lorry-mounted crane, establishes the model of arm systemwith beam element, generates the operator routine of program calculation whichcontains the automated assembly, automatic retrieval conditions, automaticcomputation and automatic output of the model, outputs the results of the force ofeach cylinder, plate chain pull and pull plate force which provides aid analysis datafor product-design and checks the product performance.Secondly, it runs the detail calculation of SQS300K lorry-mounted crane.Based on the Pro/E model and MDS plan provided by the company, it usesHYPERMESH software to establish FMA model of the upper-structure of crane,generates the operator routine of detail calculation, check the product strength andstiffness based on the computed results, analyses the local stress region, optimizesthe four outriggers ear board structure and jib which beyond the yield limit.Next, it runs the performance analysis of SQS300K lorry-mounted crane basedon the program calculation and detail calculation. It calculates the hoist weight byDichotomy, runs the assembly load calculation based on the appropriate hoistweight, outputs the hoist results which meet the control requirements and the table of cranes performance.To check the model s accuracy, it runs a test program of SOS300K includingstrain measurement and displacement test. It runs the strain measurement used theDH5908static and dynamic strain testing system and the displacement test used thedisplacement tester, compares the test results and finite element results to verify therationality of finite element model and the accuracy of finite element results.Finally, it establishes the program-calculating parametric model of themid-tonnage lorry crane based on SQS3OOK. From this model it can acquire thepreliminary data used in the beginning of product design, which greatly shorten thedevelopment cycle of new products and which lay the foundation of the productseries.In the summary and outlook, it puts forward to the structure analysis of lorrycrane, wishes to reduce the error between calculation results and the test results,runs the stability analysis of lorry crane vehicle and establishes the detailedcalculations parametric model in future.In this paper, it writes parameter calculation program based on the APDL andDOS of ANSYS which saves the calculation time, develops the practicality programto remove the manually artificial error gradually which improvesprecision, calculates results based on Finite Element Analysis software whichavoids human error and ensure the calculation accuracy.
