It is inevitable in the existence of a large number of defects in power plant. how to deal with the existing defects,especially the defects over the current standard of quality control(also known as excessive defects) in the actual production is generally concerned about.Practice has proved that not all defects will lead to equipment failure,it is important to distinguish the defect,the necessary analysis of the assessment to eliminate potentially dangerous defects,and no danger to the security flaws will be retained to ensure the safety and reducing economic losses.The principles of the pressure vessel containing defects safety assessment of Based on "Fitness-for-purpose",the engineering concern has been a hot issue at home and abroad.This article systematically carries on the analysis and the discussion to the standards of the containing defects metal structure integrity assessment,and mainly introduces the British integrity assessment standard BS7910:2005 method, development the power plant metal structural integrity assessment software system using Delphi7.0.The system includes fracture module,fatigue module,creep module and the high temperature materials properties database module.Finally,carries on the confirmation with the actual example to the software.
