Research And Implementation Of Web Ship Navigation System Based On COM

In recent years,the Yangtze River Shipping(YRS) have entered a rapid development track,and in this process,infomationization construction and application play a significant role.But a number of shortcomings still exist,which constrains the further development of YRS productive forces.So,Changjiang River Administration of Navigational Affairs,MOC and Dalian Maritime University proposed a development concept of integrated application system of YRS.The vital ingredient of the system is the integrated system of ship navigation applications.After realizing the research situation of the integrated system of ship navigation applications,referring to the electronic chart display and information system developing principles and methods,drawing lessons from the informed experiences and lessons of ship navigation platform,combining the characteristics of YRS and customer needs,this paper research and fulfill the browser ship navigation applications system based on COM,and will lay a solid foundation for the integrated system of ship navigation applications.The main work of this paper includes following two aspects:(1) Fulfilling Web electronic chart platform which can be embedded IE browser running on a web page by utilizing COM,JSP and ActiveX technology,and on the basis of VC programming language.Ship navigation system running in a JSP pageframe embedded components by ActiveX technology,provides image-rich navigation services for ships client in form of characters and pictures.JSP is mainly responsible for the operation of the system interface and displays of a text message,COM component including chart display and operation module,chart data management module,data transmission and communication management module,GPS data acquisition module,ship data management module,and navigation alarm application module,etc,completes the main function of navigation system.(2) Accomplishing the function of electronic chart platform through a combination of COM and JSP technology.On the basis of achieving the connection of GPS,realizing the real-time display of other ships dynamic information and function of ship navigation alarms,including leeway,ship-bridge collision,navigation aids collision and dangerous underwater objects alarm.Besides,proposing a new fuel-efficient program of ship navigation by the method of course pointed to the next turning point,the program needs work out the leeway and drift angle on the basis of Least Square Method.
