With the freeway volumes and natural environment, property of flexible pavements deteriorates gradually owing to asphalt aging and aggregate thinning and structure changing of asphalt pavement. Therefore, lots of pavements need to repair in large-scale even repave wholly after using a long time, which will bring large numbers of waste asphalt mixture. Therefore, it is important to reclaim the waste asphalt mixture in order to protect environment and economize resource. But one of the difficulties of recycling waste asphalt mixture is evaluating the characters of old asphalt, the other is that the effect factors of asphalt mixture performance required in-depth research。Firstly, this paper researches the hot-in-plant reclaimed asphalt mixture technologies on the basis of the results that people have ever examinated. By the current research both at home and abroad,and the investigation of pavement structure, traffic, damaged condition of , as well as the nature of the old material of the recycling pavement , the author analyzes the causes of pavements disease; Based on reclaiming mechanism of asphalt and nature of reclaiming agent, the author tests penetration, ductility, softening point of old asphalt with different volume of reclaiming agent, which come to the best volume of reclaiming agent.Secondly, from the recycled mix designation, the paper goes proved the scientific way of asphalt reclaiming according to the reclaiming performance of reclaimed asphalt mixture. Then analysis of a reclaimed mixture of road performance with different rate of old stuff mixed to determine the most suitable material that doped with the old stuff mix rate was 40%.The tests have proven that the reclaimed asphalt mixture has a good road performance which can be used in high-grade roads.Finally , analyzing the effect factors of the performance of hot recycled asphalt mixture, results shows that porosity is the most important factor to performance of reclaimed mixture, so it is recommended to place greater emphasis on porosity controlling in engineering practice.
