A Study Of Keys Design Based On User Knowledge

Designing is a process which achieves customers'demands, needs various areas of knowledge and technology, including user knowledge without a doubt. Then, researching on user knowledge has great significance.Known to all, keys design belongs to interface interaction field. The paper systematically study keys design process at the point of user knowledge, based on the agreement that"understanding customers and acquiring user knowledge are the foundation of interface interaction design". Firstly, the paper sorts out user knowledge theory and Ergonomics in the part of literature review. Secondly, to get targeted user knowledge, the problem of user mistaken operation on keys is deeply discussed by analyzing key operating in six different respects, through market research, user visit, observation, etc. In the last, using targeted user knowledge, several methods on keys combination and layout are put forward in keys design.The results of researching keys design can also provide certain reference for product interface design.
