| Frame is the most important part of a Body-chassis frame construction. The performance of a frame directly determined the performance of an automotive. Further more, the performance of a frame is determined by the static and dynamic characteristics of its structure. So researches on the static and dynamic characteristics can not only estimate the frame characteristics, but also estimate the characteristics of an automotive.In this paper, series of Finite Element Analysis and study on Heavy Truck Frame are preceded. Based on there search on tire done before, a method of using Finite Element Method to study bus dynamic performance is discussed fundamentally. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Based on ready-made researches, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design method used in Finite Element programming are discussed in chapter 2;(2) By analyzing the mechanics character of truck frame, a Finite Element Model of the frame is established, and some key issues about frame modeling are summarized;(3) The creation of the detail Finite Element Model of the truck's frame structure by Hypermesh software. It includes importing UG model of truck's frame into Hypermesh software, selecting element types, creating the whole vehicle mesh, assigning element property and material property, and debugging the Finite Element Model;(4) Integrating the domestic and foreign correlative researches, series of static analysis on the frame are implemented, the results of stress, strain and deform present references for the frame lightening design;(5) According to the dynamic requirement of a truck, modal analysis on the frame is performed and the result is logical;(6) Static and dynamic experiments of frame are expatiated in chapter5, the results of the experiments have testified the analyses done above, and offered practical foundation;... |
