Flatbed truck without power as a very strong demand for personalized equipment logistics can be used in the train station, ports, shipyards, airports, large factories, beer industries, as well as large workplaces, such as the logistics center. The basic structure of flatbed truck and its working principle is introduced carefully in the article. Also,the details of design skills , experience design and design features of all components are presented.Take a 60 ton of flatbed truck as a example to analysis its structure. With a large number of design formulas, calculations, charts and so on the design process and design conclusions of are given. This article is focused on the use of ANSYS and Hypermesh software to creat finite element model to realize the lightweight structure of the frame in the way of shell element analysis and beam element analysis. In this paper, with the detailed analysis of the calculation of three stress-strain conditions and the size of the structure is modified, so that the frame tends to uniform stress distribution. At last some measures are taken to enable a more solid structure.This article also briefly introduced the strengthen and stiffness experiment of this flatbed truck frame and the actual use of the customers. Compared with Enterprise Standard of flatbed truck the experimental results and the actual results meet the basic regulatory requirements of design and manufacture and the customer needs.Through the study of this article the basic structure of the flatbed and the function of parts and components can be known, which can effectively guide the design and production. Through the finite element analysis of frame, the distribution of the force of the post-load flatbed truck can be get to achieve uniform strength design and avoid imbalance, such as the strength of design and manufacturing defects. Through a large number of engineering practices the large tonnage of flatbed technology development trends is present.
