Centrifugal slurry pump is widely used in water conservation,metallurgy, chemical engineering and electric power industry.From the slurry pump used in the exposure of the general low efficiency,a shorter life-span view of the main issues, Understanding of the internal flow field of the pump is especially important.Pump flow field study of the most direct and most reliable way is to experiment,However, faced with large investments in laboratory equipment,laboratory,such as the cyclical nature of a long series of problems.CFD simulation of the current has reached a certain level,and low cost,it can accurately reflect the intuitive flow of the pump.The main research and the major work done in this paper as follows:1,According to the structural characteristics of slurry pump and the internal flow field characteristics,ignore the gap flow between the wheel hub and the latter wheel guard,Internal flow of the slurry pump has been simplified,and divides it into the import area,the runner area,the volute area three regions.2,Slurry pump is modeled three-dimensionally and mesh accurately.This lay the reliable basis for the precision of the CFD simulation of the internal flow in the flow-passing.3,Use theκ-εmodel to enclose derivation the N-S equation.Adopt the limited volume method to the enclose equations set,press amendment use SIMPLE algorithm. Has carried on steady and unsteady numerical simulation to slurry pump by using FLUENT software,The results are as follows:1) Carry on the three-dimensional steady numerical simulation regarding the slurry pump under the water medium.2) Use the merge grid and the slipping grid technology,carry on the three dimensional unsteady numerical simulation to the slurry pump under the water medium,analyse of unsteady cases with the rotating impeller,the instant outlet pressure and instant head change rule.3) Analyze the influence on the solid granulation to the distribution of pressure field and velocity field under different grain size and solid phase density,analyze which effect to the pump's efficiency and head,analyze which effect to the pump's wear.4) Calculate the axial force balance of the slurry pump's back impeller,Simulate the back impeller of the effects of internal and external characteristics,Simulation method used to verify the leaves in a sealed back role.Because time limited and my lack of experience,this topic has many details not to arrive,waits for continuing to study and the discussion.
