With the rapid development of the society and economy, our government starts to build the high speed railways widely in the country. The high-speed railway station as an important high-speed railway infrastructure plays a vital role in the connection between the high-speed railway and urban traffic. So, the Planning and D Design Institute of Changsha invited public bidding widely on the planning of the new Changsha railway station. The purpose of this dissertation is to present a research on traffic joint planning of Wuchang-Guangzhou high speed railway station of Changsha.The thesis mainly focus on the three fundamental research issues, which are the macroscopic analysis and microscopic analysis on the traffic joint planning of high speed railway station, the connections between urban traffic and the high speed railway station. The macroscopic analysis of the traffic joint planning focuses on the localization of the planning, the planning principle and the balance between the traffic supply and demands, which are critical problems of the planning and definitely the key to the success. A model of proportion of transfer was established. The microscopic analysis includes the researches on structure of the joint traffic, layout and road network planning and so on. Based on the"Seamless Transfer"theory which is barely accomplished in the practical situations, the theory of"sub-seamless transfer"is presented and applied in the planning of the high-speed railway station. The connection between urban traffic and the high speed railway station was studied in transport capacity, time coordination and distribution coordination. A three-dimensional model of parking layout is proposed for the planning of high-speed railway station, which is according to concepts of the land planning and environmental protection. By the end of this thesis, the traffic joint planning of the new Changsha railway station is taken as an example. The conclusion has applied to the planning of the new Changsha railway station and it works.At the present time, the mature and well-developed theory on the traffic joint planning of high speed railway station in our country is not well-established. The present thesis which based on the analysis of theories and methods about the planning of high-speed railway station, not only enriches our theory on the traffic joint planning but also provides a scientific reference to traffic planning of the new Changsha railway station.
