Networked manufacturing has turned into a major trend in modern manufacturing industry with the revolutionary influence brought by computer network technology.In recent years,Computer-Aided Design has become a powerful and arrogant technology,and also has been comprehensively applied to large-scale mechanical design and manufacturing.Compute>aided design(CAD) is a technology which products,modifies, analyzes and optimizes the design by computer system.With the popularity of Internet/Intranet network and the parallel,high-performance computing and transaction processing,the collaborative,virtual design and real-time simulation has been widely used.How to provide the product information designed by CAD to other sectors, such as manufacturing,that is,the process of enterprise information is a serious problem.It is urgent that a large number of data must be managed centralized in order to ensure the effectiveness,integrity,consistency of data,and also to exchange and share data.The data integration system of valve CAD based on CORBA not only guarantees integral and consistent data,but also provides enterprise production with the fast,accurate data source.This thesis from the actual needs of the valve CAD system.Author references a lot of domestic and foreign literature,combines with the excellent technology of CORBA.Moreover,it discusses implementation of data integration based on CORBA technology,sets forth the valve CAD system architecture,design concept and implementation after a detailed analysis of system requirement.This thesis analyzes the CORBA functional requirements,takes advantages of some software technolog.For instance,CORBA,VC++ programming language.Finally,this system achieves data communications between valve CAD system and CAPP system,then upload and download data from CORBA server.Through analyzing the application of this software system,the rationality and feasibility of CAD/CAPP data integration system could be tested and verified. Anyway,this system has a better scalability as a result of providing data source for other data integration system of CAM/ERP/PDM.
