The manufacturing industry is the main pillar of China’s economy, ultrasonicdetection technology plays a very important role in improving the quality ofmanufactured goods. Automation, universal and intelligent ultrasonic testing determinethe accuracy and efficiency of detection to some extent in the detection process,according to the Preparation of inspection work piece automated ultrasonic testingprocess planning, which provide rapid decision support for the implementation ofspecific detection work is a very effective means. At present, the research of detectiontechnology-aided design software for the various features of the parts to do a little andgeneral poor. Ultrasonic testing standards which nobody has ever exploited it publishedby authoritative departments that for the study of ultrasonic testing processspecification computer-aided design software.Based on CAPP, artificial intelligence and relational database technologies, theresearch of computer-aided design of the ultrasonic testing process procedures is oneof the sub-topics of CNC machine tool automatic ultrasonic detection system thatincluded automatically detects the attachment of CNC machine tools ultrasonicdevelopment that is technological projects in Shanxi province. By ultrasonic testingprocess planning knowledge base and reasoning mechanism, the goal of this researchis for testing personnel to develop the testing process which provide an effective andreasonable policies and programs, making the subsequent detection of action fast,accurate and realistic. The main work is as follows:(1)Analysis and summarizes the classification of ultrasonic testing standards,the basic structure of the weld class testing standards, for example given the propertiesof relations of the standard content, the content of the ultrasonic testing of the processspecification, the development of knowledge of principles and standards and technicalrules.(2)Ultrasonic testing process planning functions of the computer-aided designsystem, the overall design philosophy of the system and divided into functionalmodules of the system was described in detail the workflow of the system. (3)Ultrasonic testing process specification knowledge base was established.According to the characteristics of knowledge represent, it more easier access toknowledge. The use of frame notation was used to represent heuristic knowledge,Production rule notation express regularity knowledge, the relation database expressfactual knowledge and control knowledge and use of the database table to store.(4)The system’s reasoning mechanism has been studied. Respectively, usingcase-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning in artificial intelligence technologygiven reasoning strategy and the search path, and raised the overall reasoning methodthat would be a combination of both systems.(5)System technology and software development has been studied. This articledescribes the use of technology in the system group, the matching algorithm andrule-based reasoning, conflict resolution strategies in similar case retrieval incase-based reasoning. The study analyzed the functional structure of the software,given the realization of the software features.
