Research Of The Feasible Solutions Of Digital Substation

Taking the primary and secondary equipments of substation as subjects,and based on the high speed internet communication platform,digital substation realizes information sharing and inter-operation by standardizing digital information.Based on internet data,it further realizes relay protection,data management and other functions, which can meet the requirement of building modern substation safely and stably.Digital substation technology as the trend of future development of electrical power automation will become the standard of electrical power automation in the near future.However,we still have a lot to do in practizing and generalizing digital substation.This article proposes a possible solution which is suitable for this transitional digital substation through studying digital substation theory standardized by IEC61850,and compares nomoral substation with digital station from the perspectives of technological feasibility and economic cost.
