Plasma ignition burner is the advanced burning technology with wide application prospect.Much oil has to be consumed when coal-fired boilers start up and under low load in thermal power plant now.Thus it is of great importance to study plasma ignition technology.Numerical simulation method is employed in this thesis,first,we have optimized the height of coal concentration central and the distance between coal concentration central and the first stage barrel of plasma burners,obtained optimization curve between the two factors.The paper solved the difficulties of lean coal ignited and the issue of the larger resistance by the traditional plasma ignition burner structure transformation.Finally the papers investigate various operating conditions of plasma ignition burner of pulverized coal.Several important factors which influence the ignition of pulverized coal are analyzed,which are pulverized coal concentration,the inlet velocity of primary air flow,the velocity and pulverized coal fineness.And the optimal values of before-mentioned factors are produced.The study results will provide guidance for operation optimization of the burner and starting up of boilers.
