With global energy crisis and oil price rising, it is an urgent and long-term task to save oil. From the situation of oil supply and demand of China, the fuel oil held about 35% industrial oil which is about half of total consumption of oil. Therefore, conservation and alternative of fuel oil in power generation enterprises is one of effective ways to relieve oil shortage. In recent years, oil consveration in power plant has received more and more attention, ignition technology with little oil and oil-free now have been applicated in coal fired boiler.In this paper, the ignition technology with little oil an oil-free which is studied and used at present is compared, and its characteristics and application is analyzed. In all the technology, plasma ignition has been widely applicated and developed in power plant for several years because of obvious effect of oil consveration and strong adapatability. Application of plasma ignition technology in Lingwu Power Plant 600MW Unit is introduced in this paper, the main contents are as follows:1) The working principle, technical performance, system constitution, control system of plasma ignition system is analyzed.2) Based on the figure of furnace, combustion method, coal system and characteristics of coal in Lingwu Power Plant 600MW Unit, the technical plan of plasma ignition of this unit is drew up.3) The application of plasma ignition technology in Lingwu Power Plant 600MW Unit is introduced, including the system and technical manual; constitution of plasma ignition system and its installation and debugging. The parameters which include boiler fuel flow in start up process and temperature of once air of plasma ignition are acquired by debug.4) Economic benefit after the application of plasma ignition in Lingwu Power Plant 600MW Unit5) The problems and suggestions in the application of plasma ignition in Lingwu Power Plant 600MW Unit...
