In recent years, the urban water resources will be short day by day with the urbanized development. There are a lot of problem such as the urban rain flooding disaster, water environmental pollution etc., it has caused a series of hydrology effect. Since a couple of decades, the question on the rain flood aerification current of water's hydraulic characteristic and overflow ability that have been puzzle the people, has been getting the more and more seriously consideration, and how to more accurately compute is a difficult problem. It is very essential to do basic researches on the steep slope brook draining water systemThe studies are focused on the storm water drainage with aeration mechanism of the steep slopes and its hydraulic characteristics. The author has done a theoretical and experimental researches systematically and in-depth through studying the features of hydraulic parameters with discharge varying. Based on non-uniform open channel flow theory, the theory of aeration water and aerated flow characteristics of the hydraulic analysis, the characteristics of Manning roughness coefficient to non-uniform flow on steep slopes, steep slopes and ditches on the nature of roughness coefficient are investigated and the analysis and interpretation are given to be more obvious. It is discussed that the aerated water mechanism at the intake of steep slopes due to flood is formatted and that the aerated concentration impacts on water flow characteristics. An analysis of over-aerated rainwater hydraulic characteristics and the steep aerated rainwater pipe flow coefficient are obtained based on the experimental data, which could be as the reference to engineering design for the similar project. This analysis is based on two group test data which are gotten in laboratory tests. Due to incompletion and lack of the prototype observation data, it is necessary to do quantitative analysis using the laboratory test data from the systematical test of aerated open channel flow characteristics. The test data are also important for further researching on hydraulic structures of steep slopes, rainwater pipes and gas-water two-phase study. In addition, in order to achieve a more complete research projects, it remains to be further study on the changes of non-uniform flow roughness coefficient and on the hydraulic flow capacity.
