Comparing with traditional method, the technology of cold-in-place aspalt pavement recycling has remarkable advantages. The study on the cold-in-place recycling machine has been a hotspot in mechanical engineering field. With the development of China economy, the cold-in-place recycling machines have been developed progressively in China. However there is also large gap between China and abroad.The study about the main structure of cold-in-place asphalt pavement recycling machine and planing-milling rotor in this paper is as follows:(1) Introduce the current research of cold-in-place recycling machine, and analyze the type and main structure of the machine.(2) The planing-milling rotor was analyzed, including the rotor structure and the tools arrengement and installation angles. The geometric parameters and the suitable combination between working depth and velocity were analized and optimized through MATLAB software. At last, we obtain a series of results of planing-milling rotor tools.(3) The load fluctuation of planing-milling rotor was simulated through MATLAB software. The stress model of the tools was established. We established optimization equation, and get the optimization result of tools arrangement.(4) The tools transient stress generated during milling process was analyzed through ANSYS software, and the stress and deformation results were obtained. These results provide technology and data supports for tools design and manufacturing.In china, the study on the cold-in-place asphalt pavement recycling machine is not only necessary but also very urgent. This paper introduces the type and main structure of the machine, and mainly researches the planing-milling rotor. This study will provide the technical parameters for the future reseach helpfully.
