A majority of roads in our country which have been built or building are bituminouspavement with cement stabilized crushed stone base. With the increase of traffic volume andthe growing requirement of use age. Lots of roads need an overhaul immediately. How tofinish the job of road maintenance and decrease the damage to environment have now turn tobe an important issue on the road’s developing. The Cold In-place recycling technology cansave this problem very well, it has an immeasurable potential.In the construction of Cold In–place recycling, Cold Recycler is the centre machine.Road roller and motor grader are important machinery which will help to guarantee thequality. All kinds of machines’ structural performance and construction technology have animportant impact on the road’s quality. The main content of this article is study theconstruction technology of Cold In-place recycling. By analysis the Cold Recycler’s structureand operating principle, make some research on the Cold Recycler’s mixing uniformity,construction character on cross slope and longitudinal slope, running resistance’s matchingcharacter on the curve of track-slip rate, finally draw the conclusion of all kinds machine’sbest match character and the construction technology on normal road or special road.Meanwhile, we use the Cold Recycler of type WR2500S do the research in a construction site,and testing the new mixed road material in laboratory, the result showed that all kinds ofdifferent material are equally distributed in the new mixed material. The constructiontechnology of road roller and motor grader is reasonable, the thickness of semi-rigid base,degree of compaction, road’s strength have got a perfect objective, the whole road’s qualityhave been promoted.
