The computation of plate on elastic foundation is concerned by many engineering scientific personnel because it is widely used in engineering,such as footing,airport runway,and public roads.Some achievements have been made in those problem but the foundation and plate were scattered with finite element in those researching.With the growth of engineering,high computational accuracy is required.Consideration uncertainty of engineering is necessary because there are many uncertainties in engineering,such as uncertain loads,uncertain material parameters,uncertain physical dimensions and uncertain computational models and so on.Based on the principle of stochastic finite element and infinite elements method,the responses of the elastic half-space foundation and thin plate are studied,and the theory of elastic half-space and thin plate are considered too.The uncertain material parameters of foundation and thin plate are considered in number analysis.The plate random fields are scattered with method of 2D local average.The foundation random fields are scattered with method of 3D local average.The responses of plate on elastic half-space foundation under loads are analyzed by PFSEM and MATLAB is used to program second order statistics of displacement of plate.At last,the reliability of this question is studied using first order second moment method.It is feasible and has high accuracy using coupled model of stochastic finite element and the infinite elements in this problem.The method and results have prevalent meaning of guidance in engineering practice.
