Study On Regional Highway Network Planning

Guanzhong-Tianshui economic region will become strategic highland to drive and support development of the west regions,it has very important strategic significance to promote western economic development.It is more and more high to regional transportation requirement when regional economy develop,because the economy and the traffic is to promote each other and interdependent.Through scientific and reasonable regional highway network planning,we can guide the construction of future highway transportation,and accelerate highway transportation infrastructure construction.It will not only have important significance to the regional highway traffic and development of the comprehensive transportation system,but also produce profound influence to development in an all-around way of the regional social economy.With the development of regional economy,traffic problems appear gradually.The main reason is the highway network layout unreasonable,and it is difficult to meet demands of traffic growth.Thus highway network construction has already become the important problem in infrastructure construction field,it is followed that how to construct the scientific and reasonable highway network become the problem to be solved urgently.Meanwhile the highway network planning and construction should adapt to the region economy development,and it start to work from point to line and from line to surface gradually.The thesis introduced the regional economy and transportation,and evaluated the development situation of highway network and its planning implementation scientifically,then we get the highway development scale and overall development target.Next,through combining theory with practice,and we consider affection of the national economy and social development,and the proposals of highway network layout of Guanzhong-Tianshui economic region are put forward.Finally,some implementation policies and measures of highway network planning are also proposed according actual conditions.
