Research On Rational Disposition Methods Of Regional Highway Network

Highway is the important infrastructure of national economy anddefence, the constrction of highway network must adapt to or exceed thedevelopment of national economy and community, and in the different phaseof society development, it should have corresponding demand, scale andlay-out. So the analysis and study of the reasonable highway networkdisposition is significant for holding the adaptability between trafic andeconomy, founding out the shortage in the process of highway constructionand development, clearing about the developing thought, objective and theemphasis of construct, promoting harmonious development of traffic andeconomy, and realizing traffic modernization and continuable development.The paper explains the rules of regional society and economy, and therelationship between the regional society and economy and highwaytraffic. Then the current highway network is evaluated. And then highwaytraffic demand is forecasted with several models. After that, the total length ofhighway and the reasonable scale of each grade highway are analyzed andcalculated. Based on the work above, highway network, especially thearrangement schemes and project schemes, is designed. At last, this paper givesa demonstration to validate the theory and methods with the example of thehighway network disposition in Fujian Province. And it has fully proved itmade actual effects and feasibilities in perfect combination. Besides, everytheory and method of disposition of highway network is practised.
