| Tsingtao,a very important city in the early-modem period of China,had changed from a natural fishery village to a relatively big city with the characteristics of integrity and seaport features after fifty-eight years city planning and construction from 1891 to 1949.And its special development background and history made it a typical case for their completeness,integrlity and continuation for studying urban planning in modem China.More important,a series of urban planning and urban development of Tsingtao told us the whole process of the beginning and development of urban planning theory and the relationship between eastern and western urban planning.By the studying in the development of Tsingtao urban planning ideology of early-modem period of China and its influence in the construction of modem Tsingtao,this thesis analyzes the content and characteristics of Tsingtao city planning ideology in each stage based on the rich and accurate historical material.Tsingtao is a typical case which had been affected by external influence in the early-modem period of China.A series of unfair treaty conclude and signed by Qing garvenment with the West,lots of urban administer rules and projects by different executive authorities had promoted the development of urban construction.In addition,the development of western urban planning ideology in Tsingtao during early-modem period of China had a very important significance by studying the form of modern urban planning in China.This thesis summarized the urban planning ideology in Tsingtao during early-modem period of China,and commented on its development and evolution with the clue of special development background and history of Tsingtao,and had a research on the effect and influence on the modern Tsingtao urban planning.The creativity of this thesis is the studying on the development of urban construction,urban administer rules and projects by different executive authorities by the method of ideological history and history devision by stages.
