Engine is one of the vibration sources in vehicle, which may affects the comfort of the passengers apparently. The vibration of vehicle body and powertrain can be reduced in evidence if the powertrain mount system designed appropriatly. Moreover, it is not only improve the comfortability, but also prolong the durability of components in vehicle. In this dissertation, a certain vehicle powertrain mounting system has been studied and optimized using MATLB and dynamic analysis software ADAMS. The most content are as follows:1. Based on a large number of references, the research status of powertrain mount components and mount system optimization is illustrated systematically. At the same time, the theory and methods of mount system design are discussed.2. A number of test data and technical references about the powertrain mount system are obtained for the further research.3. According to the optimization design theory of powertrain mount system, this dissertation edits the computing program using MATLAB, the M file, for analyzing the relationship of engine's natural frequency and the mount location.4. A six degree of freedom model of the powertrain mounting system is built in ADAMS based on the test parameters. The simulation results of this model is coincident with the calculation results in MATLAB program, which means that both of the ADAMS model and the M file are correct. Moreover, the isolation ability of the whole powertrain mount system is analyzed detailedly by ADAMS model and the M file respectively.5. The dissertation carries out the optimization of the powertrain mount system using ADAMS, and the results show that the optimization process is valuable and creditable.
