Now with energy resources being consumed increasingly to be exhausted and environment empoison being serious gradually, wind power is paid great attention to by more and more countries as renewable resource and pollution-free energy resource. The control technologies of wind turbine generator have rapidly developed. The variable-pitch wind turbine is getting increasing recognition for its characteristics of high-efficiency and practicability. The research of variable-pitch control system of wind turbine and its driven mechanism has very important meaning.In this thesis, the variable-pitch control theoretical basis is put forward by research on wind turbine aerodynamic characteristics. Then mathematical model of wind turbine is established. Because wind turbine has strong nonlinear, multivariable, and other characteristics, if control with the PID, is highly difficult to achieve good performance. So combining Fuzzy control technology with PID is proposed in this paper. This thesis designed a Fuzzy-PID controller of variable-pitch control system. And then, the system is simulated by Matlab, the result indicates the Fuzzy-PID variable-pitch controller achieve good performance.The individual pitch control is also another important pitch control method. In this paper, the mathematical model of wind is established, and the control strategy is to combine fuzzy control with the weight number that is mainly decided by the acceleration and the blade azimuth angle. The simulation result indicates the both of individual pitch control strategy achieve more excellent control performance.At last, the pitch control system by electromotor is researched; the mathematic model, operation principle of PMSM and the theory of vector control for PMSM are illuminated, and then present the designing on pitch control servo system's hardware and software.
