| As we all enter the twenty-first century,it is found that industry has been developping rapidly because of the improving level of the urbanization in our country.And it also makes it clear that levels of different export processing zones have been greatly improved.Now the function of export processing zones becomes more and more complicated,and it also gets more and more systematized and specialized.The request of society on it is getting higher and higher with the productive forces developing.Considering the geography factors,the pattern of economy development in our country haa been this way which means "First the coast and east,Second the interior and west" since the reform and open policy starts.It brings in lots of huge harbors and export processing zones there.So many related theory researches have started out since then.Within these years some middle-sized cities interior also own theirs' export processing zones because of the appearance of policy of western big development.However,this part of theory research has not been studied a lot in our country.This article puts the middle-sized cities as the starting points and focuses on the analysis and research of the export processing zones.It is divided into five parts in this article.Firstly,it overviews the features of the export processing zones in our country with the recent relevant policies and current situations,and it generalizes the problems and deficiencies which now still exist.Secondly,it mainly discusses the revolution of the concept of export processing zones and the progress of logostic system;Thirdly,combining with the interior and exterior good examples,it discusses macro-environment of the export processing zones;forthly,it analyzes the strategy of the export processing zone designing with the middle-sized city like Yiwu;Fifthly,it gets Chenzhou as the example to deeply study and think the export processing zones,and outlooks its position of function and the selection of policy mechanism.
