| Stamping and welding centrifugal pump is successfully developed as a new product in 1990s. It solved the knotty problem of narrow inlet and long flow channel. It has the advantage of simple process, high production efficiency, saving in material and environmental protection. So, the stamping and welding multistage centrifugal pump is extensively applying in many fields.The study of hydraulic design, performance optimization and processing manufacturing on stamping and welding centrifugal pump is still less. Especially, the low volume and low specific speed about it at the theories and applications are premature. GA, CFD and mesh generation are used in design optimization and performance analysis of stamping and welding centrifugal pump in the paper. The main research content and achievements are as follows:1) The design method of stamping and welding multistage centrifugal pump based on CAD/CAE/CFD was put forward in this paper. Then, the horizontal stamping and welding multistage centrifugal pump whose flow is 1m~3/h is designed and each parameter is calculated by the viscous hydraulic design method;2) Genetic algorithm is used on the multiple-target optimization design of impeller and the parameters of the various components are optimized;3) Two methods of drawing cylindrical impeller blade are detailed. It is Completed in the use of UGNX that the 3D solid modeling of the centrifugal pump's components and whole structure. The centrifugal pump impeller and the draft tube are meshed by CFD pre-processing software GAMBIT;4) The solving equations of stamping and welding multistage centrifugal pump are established. After the analysis of the calculating methods and processes of CFD, the internal flow field of the pump in different impeller blades was numerically simulated based on FLUENT. It was found that the phenomenon of the wake, the eddy current and the reflux. It concluded that five-blade impeller had the best performance.The work has certain significance on design and optimization of the low volume and low specific speed stamping and welding multistage centrifugal pump. |
