There are many advantages for stamping and welding centrifugal pump. Flow smooth, clean environment, the manufacturing process saving time and material, the hydraulic pump is superior to casting and long service life, easy maintenance replacement etc.. So it has become the main direction of future development of the pump. Stamping pump efficiency technical indicators is often higher than the national standard and casting pump efficiency technical indicators is often lower than the national standard. This paper selected DQ100-64-22-type punch pump for the study. Using method of CFD numerical simulation, comparative studies related of stamping pump and casting pump efficiency specifications. At the same time, theoretical analysis and experimental study the relationship between the structureh and the head and the efficiency. The main work and results are as follows:1Through access to large amounts of data, detailed design the theory of the pump and the research of design methods at home and abroad. Compared design and manufacturing processes of stamping pump and casting pump; Contrast the structural of stamping pump and casting pump; thay are quite different In leaf type, leaf thickness, mouth ring clearance and impeller2.Establish DQ100-64-22-type single-stage multi-stage stamping pump hydraulic model by Pro/E. Drawing the fluid domain grid using Gambit. Definition of boundary conditions. Then pour into the Fluent simulation. Analysis of the flow field within static pressure, velocity, total pressure and other parameters. Then compute head and efficiency3.Analysis of flow field and head efficiency.of the straight blade, bevel blades, and blade tilt, Get, tilt and chamfering blade pump is less;Straight has a greater impact blade internal flow and hydraulic performance, but has little effect in a small flow. This meaning straight blade is good for low Specific speed;4.Study the simulation results of different blade thickness d model. Obtained, when d=2mm, the flow pattern within the flow field and performance changes small;In the range casting pump d=3mm,the performance by the flow field have a greater impact. Compare to d=3mm. The head and efficiency of the Stamping pump.blade thickness d=1mm, increased percentage of2.85%,3.34%.5.Analysis of the efficiency of the mouth ring clearance relationship with the head and Efficiency. The results show that, the static pressure and flow rate of pump cavity has a certain influence by the ring clearance. Stamping pump ring gap is zero; Casting pump is0.25mm. Compare head and efficiency of them, stamping pump increased5.16%,2.25%.6. Changing the roughness height by settings fluent. Study roughness performance on flow impeller of pump. The results show that the impact of roughness is more significanton head and efficiency, but little effect in internal changes. Compare to casting pump, affected by the roughness, head and efficiency of stamping pump improve2.22%and2.86%.7. Cooperation with enterprises manufacturing prototypes. Studied part of the program on test platform in the enterprise. The results show, test data in the head generally slightly higher than the simulation results; but the efficiency slightly lower than the simulation results. However, the trend are consistent with simulation results. Prove the reliability of simulation results.The results this comparative study of stamping pump and casting pump are only stage. On this basis, needs further study. For the development and application of centrifugal pumps to provide a solid foundation in theory and practice.
