University Campus Landscape And Spirit Of Place

China's university campuses after the baptism of thousands of years of history, carrying a very profound cultural connotation, and its campus, "Spirit of Place" is self-evident. Because of the campus where the history and geographical differences, all types of universities should have their own historical and cultural connotation and the campus landscape patterns to be distinguished from other schools.Due to the characteristics and needs of the times, China has ushered in the campus of the University building boom. Along with many of the old campus of the University's campus expansion and construction of new campuses, and gradually lost its character over the years formed the campus, campus landscape is being worn away its soul qualities, when people go on campus, they often do not know where. On the campus of the University of Identity, sense of belonging has been decreasing and this phenomenon of human nature and the landscape design of the objective. And "Spirit of Place" because of its focus on people's sense of identity and a sense of belonging, and create a new era of our campus where the soul of the new landscape.In this paper, there are five parts to form a more complete system. Among them, the first part of the General Introduction to the article above, the main university campus on the current status of the landscape, as well as the "Spirit of Place" on the campus of the significance of landscape design has done a systematic analysis; the second part of the campus of the University from home and abroad of the historical evolution approach, combined with environmental factors to the University of the vertical and horizontal analysis, summarized in today's campus landscape design trends and the specific composition; third part of the spirit of place through research and the relationship between landscape design, summed up the spirit of a new era of places on the landscape design guide; fourth part analyzes the Spirit of Place landscape at the university campus and the concrete application of the embodiment; the fifth chapter, combined with the spirit of case study at the university campus sites in the specific performance of the landscape.
