Study On Traffic Design Technology Of Arterial Road In Town Agglomerations

With the rapid development of our economics,and the rapid rise of Town Agglomerations in Zhejiang province,Ningbo city in particular,the traditional Arterial road is no longer possible to satisfy the demand of transportation. Thus, according to the actual situation and development trends of Ningbo Arterial road of the Town Agglomerations,it is extremely important to explore the Arterial road of the Town Agglomerations in a number of important issues, and recommend practical means of transportation design techniques.The arterial road of town agglomeration is the main framework of the town agglomeration regional road network. This text refer to the existing road functional classification at home and abroad,Based on in-depth analysis about road function service layer and town arterial road's traffic characteristics, the thesis combine town regional features with service level features and classify the town arterial road functionally according to the functional classification rule of explicit functions,clear levels, reasonable structure and traffic segregation. This classification is oriented to multiple leves like road layout,road design,road contruction and adminitration. That is to classify the town arterial road into three categories freeway,main road and minor road.This text mainly considers the service function of town arterial road and proposes the basic form,characteristics and compatibility condition of road cross section according to the rule of integrated cross-sectional layout and the requirement of every constituent of the cross section,aim at the road of different function level. Based on integrated cross-sectional layout of the town arterial road,this thesis proposes the principles and methods of traffic designs of road including motor vehicle,non-motorized; proposes the selection principle of intermediate stopping station of public transport between town and country and the design method of stopping station; proposes the main points of the design of auxiliary road of the main road of the town arterial road.Based on the analysis of problems about road crossing and road access of the town arterial road and used the advanced design method at home and abroad for reference, this thesis proposes the gerneral plan of traffic design of the road crossing and road access. The standard and technical requirements of the road crossing design and road access control are also included in this thesise. The details including:the application types of road crossing of town arterial road and traffic management mode;the standard of minimum control spacing of road crossing and road access;access management technology;access-point examination and approval system and so on. Through analysis of the existing problems,combining with the Yinxian road in ningbo,this paper put forward the corresponding improvement measures on traffic design.
