Vibrator is the main component of the screed plant, the performance of the paver working unit has direct effect on the quality of the road. The research on vibrator at home and abroad is relatively rare at present, therefore, this thesis makes a study on kinematics and dynamics of vibrator, which has practical significance for the design and reasonable use of vibrator.This dissertation summarizes the main parameters of vibrator. By comparison and analysis, it gives out the selection principle and the scope of values on the motion parameters of vibration beam, structural parameters of vibration hammers and phase parameters of vibration beam; It firstly brings the concept and scope of phase parameters which include the left and right vibrated beam phase, the adjacent vibrated beam phase and the main and side vibrated beam phase, which has a chief effects on the working performance and reliability of vibrator and screed plant; This thesis establishes the motion differential equation about the vibration unit, composes the processes and procedures of the kinematic analysis and simulates the kinematics and dynamics of vibrator by MATLAB; The trends of experimental test results and simulation results are consistent and similar ; This dissertation also gives the formula for calculation of the inertia force of vibrator, and makes a comprehensive analysis for the main parameters which affect the inertia force of vibrator. The analysis and research done in this thesis, taking into account inertia force simulation results of vibrator, provide a basis for the design and rational use of vibrator, and also for the installation manner of the extended longer screed section.Research shows that the movement rules and dynamic characteristics directly relate to the normal work and working quality of paver. Therefore, the research results of this paper have practical significance on the design and use of paver.
