Expressway in China has experienced for20years of rapid development, combinedwith the development of the economy, resulting in significant increase in traffic volume andtraffic, road construction is still the golden period of development in the coming years. Paveras a leading construction machinery and equipment for road construction, and plays anirreplaceable role in the road construction. The screed working device is an important part ofthe paver. In the construction process, it is safe, stable and continuous operation is thecommon goal of the equipment manufacturers and construction units. So the device statusmonitoring is particularly important.This article describes the composition, classification and the working process of thepaver. Asphalt mixture as paver object, the research about interaction process of the asphaltmixture and screed is necessary, on the basis of the structure of asphalt mixture, the physicalcharacteristics of the different mix of the asphalt the mechanism of the strength of thepavement; asphalt mixtures according to the characteristics of the different components of themixture obtained rheological model. Found that in practice, the screed kinematics theorycannot meet the requirements of high-quality asphalt pavement, so we research on the screedkinetic analysis with the combination of the characteristics of the mixture.In addition, in order to ensure the screed works in the best condition as far as possible,this paper designed ICP sensor as measuring element, the microcontroller core device andhigh-precision frequency monitoring system to detect and can be displayed in digital mode. Inthis paper, a combination of hardware and software, in hardware selection and hardwaredesign, following the principle of low-cost and strong anti-interference, microcontroller as thecore element, coupled with the external circuit, composed of a microcomputer system, anderror generation were analyzed, proposed methods for reducing errors. On the basis ofcompletion of the hardware aspects of the work, the use of software to meet the accuracyrequirements, real-time display of data, and frequency limit alarm display.Finally, the monitoring system for Simulation test, amendments and improvement.
