The restrictive factor of accumulated snow and ice for highway development and communications safety operated has been followed with interest by various circles in the northern cold regions of China . It is necessary to clear snow and ice for driving safety and road unblocked in which road capacity and operation benefit can be improved . The pavement of deicing and snow melting technology can produce economic benefit and social benefit.Thus the application technologies of crumb rubber asphalt mixture are studied in the paper. It includes adaptability of gradation type, antifreezing performance , ice-breaking performance , antiwearing performance.and the test road was paved .The influencing factors of asphalt mixture performance are crumb rubber gradation and particle size through the test of crumb rubber asphalt mixture volume parameter . Gap gradation can provide space for elastic deformation of crumb rubber ,so the structural stability was guaranteed . The asphalt mixture field performance can be improved by crumb rubber , but it is necessary for the suitable amount of admixture .Simulating tester for antifreeze pavement fills a domestic gap in this field which is test instrument for antifreezing . The ice-breaking performance of pavement can be proved in this test instrument . The asphalt mixture antiwearing performance can be proved by simulating Tester for acceleration wearing in different asphalt content and crumb rubber amount.The crumb rubber asphalt mixture was firstly paved in high-grade highway in china, the construction technology of crumb rubber asphalt pavement was comprehensive summarized , the test road has excellent field performance .
