Research Of Designing And Constructing Technology On Granulated Crumb Rubber Anti-ice Asphalt Mixture

Road snow and ice is the main cause of road traffic accidents, as well as is adifficult problem for administrator in winter. To find scientific and efficienttechnology of anti-ice-snow in recent years has been more and more widespreadconcerned. Granulated crumb rubber act as aggregates in mixture, which are crashedfrom scrap tires. Granulated crumb rubber can improve elasticity of asphalt pavementwhich can be anti-snow-ice with the conduct of repeated traffic loads.By analyzing failure mechanism of ice and mechanism of snow melting,mechanism of anti-snow-ice and ice-breaking is researched in this paper. According tothe characteristics that strength was reduced after adding granulated crumb rubber inasphalt mixture in order to ensure structural integrity and compactness of asphaltmixture, making skeleton dense structure as the type of asphalt mixture. Thetraditional volume design method was revised and volume design method ofgranulated crumb rubber was put forward. For the particular pavement structure ofGranulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement, through laboratory testing research, theMarshall specimen porosity as the main control index, special requirement of theheating temperature of raw materials in on-site construction and laboratory,deliveryprocesses, mixing temperature, time, mixture transport, crushing, paving processeswas analyzed systematically. Regarding expressway of Arongqi to Boketu of thenational trunk road from Suifenhe to Manzhouli as support project, key problems ofgranulated crumbrubber asphalt pavement was researched systematically.Establishingrelationship of best range of elasticity of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavementand best mixing amount through measuring the rebound deflection and totaldeflection. By regarding rate of ice-breaking as the main control index, detectingeffect of ice-breaking of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement，observing effectof ice-breaking in different temperatures，and researching effective working range oftemperatures of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement.
